Immersion in virtual reality

The client’s brief was to increase circulation of people in Casa Ipanema, its flagship store in Rio de Janeiro during the Olympics and Paralympics. In order to attract people, especially the large number of tourists visiting Rio, we created a series of immersive experiences using virtual reality, in which people could be transported to attractions that only cariocas know so well.

Samba at Pedra do Sal, Baile do Charme over the Madureira viaduct and feijoada at the Santa Marta slum were some of the registered scenarios available during an expo at the House. On top of that, we featured big panels with graffiti done on the soles of hundreds of flip flops, and bossa nova and passinho shows, which attracted influencers to the space, generating buzz around the brand and its products in an original and immersive way.
